The NFL playoffs are finally here. Normally, the end of the regular season brings much smaller slates with limited options for DFS. But this year, thanks to the playoff expansion, we actually have six games on tap this week, meaning there's plenty of options to choose from on some of the NFL's best teams. Without further ado, here are my favorite value plays for the opening wild-card round.

Best Wild Card Weekend NFL DFS Plays

DraftKings Playoff DFS Quarterback Plays

QB Dak Prescott, Dallas Cowboys $6,400

I really like Dak the most at QB this week. Dak averages 25 FPTs at home this season. The lowest points he had was Week 9 vs Denver in a game where Dallas as a whole were awful and he still managed a respectable 19.9 FPTs. This week he faces a 49er team that is stingy against the run and susceptible to the pass. Give me the QB at home with the highest game total on the weekend.

QB Jimmy Garoppolo, San Francisco 49ers, $5,300

Jimmy G should be low-owned in what I expect to be a high-scoring game. He has so many weapons and I think the best way to attack the Cowboy’s defense is through the air. 

DraftKings Playoff DFS Running Back Plays

RB Devin Singletary, Buffalo Bills $5,700

Singletary has been HOT, averaging 21.5 FPTs over the last four weeks. He scored 18.8 fantasy points on only 17 touches at New England in Week 16 and I look for that to continue this week. Weather will be a factor and Buffalo will try to take advantage of the Patriots' weak run defense. 

RB Darrell Williams, Kansas City Chiefs $5,500

When we talk about bad run defenses then we must talk about the Pittsburgh Steelers. They have given up over 180 rushing yards six out of the past seven weeks. Williams has been limited but appears to be ready to go. If he is out pivot to Derrick Gore at $4,000.  

DraftKings Playoff DFS Wide Receiver Plays

WR Deebo Samuel, San Francisco 49ers, $8,100

If the Niners want to keep up with the Cowboys then Samuel must be key for the offense. He is a game-breaker both through the air and on the ground. I’m expecting over 120 total yards and a TD for over 20 FPTs. 

WR CeeDee Lamb, Dallas Cowboys, $6,200

I expect Lamb to be Dak Prescott’s favorite option this week, likely seeing double-digit targets. This will be a superstar breakout game for Lamb and he will reach the end zone at least once.

WR Chase Claypool, Pittsburgh Steelers $4,800

I had to look at this price again when I first saw it. It's way too cheap for a receiver of Claypool’s caliber. Pittsburgh should be playing from behind and I expect Big Ben to air it out 40 times. Claypool could be in all winning lineups.

DraftKings Playoff DFS Tight End Plays

TE Rob Gronkowski, Tampa Bay Buccaneers $6,400

Gronk is my favorite play on the board. He will be targeted 10-plus times against one of the worst defenses against the tight end. He should easily eclipse 20 fantasy points reaching the end zone at least once. 

TE Dallas Goedert, Philadelphia Eagles $4,500

I think Goedert is a nice low-priced option to play in your flex with Gronk at tight end. He should easily gain double-digit FPTs and at this price will allow you to afford high-priced players like Deebo Samuel.
