Miami’s rookie star running back De’Von Achane is expected to miss multiple weeks with a knee injury and is a possible candidate for injured reserve. The Dolphins are saying it is not a season-ending injury, but they are not releasing specifics about the injury either.

Achane has been a very impressive and special rookie, rushing for 460 yards on 38 carries and five touchdowns. He has also scored two receiving touchdowns on nine catches for 67 yards. De’Von was just the second player in NFL history with seven or more touchdowns in his first four games. His speed is outstanding and he navigates his way through defenders like it’s nothing. He will definitely be missed, but let’s not forget about the other amazing backs this team has in his absence.

Raheem Mostert Fantasy Football Outlook

Raheem Mostert is someone fantasy and DFS players should roster in confidence. Raheem has rushed for 314 yards on 58 carries and logged seven touchdowns so far this season. He has also been part of the receiving game with 128 yards on 15 catches for one touchdown. With all the RB injury news, setting lineups has become challenging this season and will continue to challenge us in Week 6, but Mostert is a must-start against a Carolina defense that ranks 31st against the run and gave up 109 yards and a touchdown to Detroit’s David Montgomery. Mostert will be in the top 10 this week in rankings and a solid player to lock into all your lineups.

Jeff Wilson Jr. Fantasy Football Outlook

Jeff Wilson Jr. is eligible to come off injured reserve this week, but Mostert will still be the RB1 until Wilson is fully ready to go. Still, he is worth adding in case Mostert is also injured or he can carve out a role next to Mostert in this incredibly potent offense.
