Week 11 Player Props on Monkey Knife Fight
MORE OR LESS
Matt Ryan - 251.5 Passing yards
Mac Jones 235.5 Passing yards
I absolutely love this matchup for the simple fact that a few trends could be bucked here. On the surface, one would simply think that the Patriot defense would travel on the road and hold Matt Ryan to a pedestrian number of yards. But, and this is just a gut feeling here, I think this stout defense, which is only giving up just short of 18 points a game, will be due for a bit of a letdown. On the other side, Jones has been short of this mark for 3 consecutive weeks, although that hasn’t stopped the Patriots from winning. For this particular game, I like him against a defense giving up over 246 through the air.
Tater's Picks
Both QBs surpass the target.
RAPIDFIRE
Passing yards - Matt Ryan VS. Mac Jones(+16.5)
Rushing Yards - Kyle Pitts VS. Jakobi Meyers (+10.5)
My analysis of the outlook on production for both these QBs is very interesting. In a game where I believe in both Ryan and Jones, the question is whether Jones can keep pace. I think even though Jones will have to throw it more than he wants to, it will be tough for him to keep up on the road.
A bit trickier in the Rapidfire play for both matchups. Again, this is purely a guy playing the odds, but I believe Pitts is due for a monster game, even against a stingy New England defense. He hasn’t surpassed the 100-yard mark in 3 weeks and I think that streak ends in a productive afternoon. For Meyers, I’m sure he’d like to have more opportunities in the passing game. He has not gone over the 100-yard mark at all this season as Jones likes to spread the ball around and make the proper decisions. I think his production could be on the uptick in a potentially high-scoring affair, but it won't matter as his counterpart has a big day.
Tater's Picks
A nice day for Jones, but not within 20 yards of Ryan
110+ yards for Pitts, Meyers has a nice day, but won’t top the 90-yard threshold
